The customer’s deadline for a 780kW installation was less than six weeks from the date we began, and missing it would incur daily financial penalties. Weight capacities for the roof restricted equipment loading and the layout of the array made large crews impractical. Because our Vicerack system incorporates significant pre-assembly, we were able to install an average of 35kW per day with a crew of six. Even after losing days to poor weather and the additional time required to lift equipment to the roof, we completed the job on-time.

The challenge for this project was identifying a racking system that could (a) safely mount the roof’s northeast sloping roof seams and provide a true south position for the solar panels, and (b) attach to the standing seam without voiding its pre-existing manufacturer’s warranty.
Advanced Racking provided the Vicerack mounting system to install the nearly 5000 panels across the seams. The system was positioned true south across the northeast slope using a 20° module tilt. The system will generate an additional 5.67% in annual solar production, and the roof's pre-existing warranty was maintained.
